A young Norwegian couple in their 20’s has proved that it possible to drive at a speed of 123 kilometers an hour on a highway and have sex. However, they were unfortunate and were stopped by the police between the cities of Drammen and Asker on their way to Drammen. The police observed that the car was not driving straight, turned on the video, followed them for a little while, saw that there were two people in the driver seat, and stopped them.

As it turned out, the young lady was sitting in the man’s lap, and they were in the middle of an intercourse. The man lost his driver’s license, while the young lady kept hers and was allowed to drive the car home after the little incident!

Telegraph (newspaper, UK) reports that increasing numbers of middle-aged men are going off sex, according to relationship experts. They report it is an universal trend, but I suspect it may only be a British trend:

Counselling and sex therapy charity Relate says it has seen a 40 per cent increase in men who simply cannot be bothered to make love to their wives and partners.

The findings are a world away from just ten years ago, when hardly any men contacted them with a loss of libido. The main sufferers who call its helpline with the problem are generally aged between 30 and 50 and are married.

Peter Bell, Relate’s head of practice, said: “Men used to come to us with impotence – now known as erectile insufficiency – but Viagra has sorted some of that problem. What we have is a lot of men who say, as women did in the 1950s: ‘I can have sex but I do not want to. It’s not rewarding’.

An English professor thinks he has the explanation:

Professor Michael King, of the Royal Free and University College Medical School in London, has completed a study into mental illness across six countries which found that the rate of major depression and panic syndrome was highest among men in the UK.

I am not able to question his conclusion. But I do feel sorry for all those beautiful, attractive, suffering English ladies out there. And I feel confident that there must be men, somewhere within the common labor market of the EU, who may be convinced to move to the UK to help them out.

After all, there must be lots of fun to be had in the once Great Britain these days. And if the natives are not willing to do it, somebody has to…

Today there was a big meeting in Stockholm, Sweden, about the bare breast (“Bara Bröst” in Swedish) movement. The topic is why naked female breasts provoke some people so much.

The Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet has an interview with one of the participants, feminist Nour El-Refai says that “I think people should let women’s breasts in peace. We women should be allowed to de-sexualize our breasts if we want to. We are not to blame for the sexualization of breasts. A de-sexualization of breasts would increase my freedom as a woman.”

Nour firmly believes that the bath house protests of the bare breast movement in Sweden represent a good approach for the movement, as they are visible manifestations that attract attention.

She says de-sexualization of breasts is important in order for the sexes to be able to act natural: “I do not get wet by watching the naked breasts of a man, so why should it be that way for men?”

The feminist movement in Scandinavia has been very successful in a large number of areas. Now a growing number of feminists, especially in Sweden and Denmark, want to fight for the right to behave as men do with respect to their bodies. They essentially want to be able to be topless wherever and whenever men are allowed to be topless. In public bath houses, at the beach, and similar places. They also want to be able to take off their shirts on the soccer field after a match, like the men do. And so on.

Or so they claim. The Danish newspaper BT writes that more than every second Dane, 54%, have had sex in the kitchen according to a representative survey. And sex in the kitchen is even more frequent among the people living in Copenhagen than in the rest of the country – six out of every ten in Copenhagen.

According to the Danish newspaper, this almost makes them the world champions of kitchen sex. However, they are not quite on the top, the Japanese and the Swedes both beat them by a narrow margin. But the Danes also proudly announce that they are way ahead of the British – only 40% in the UK have ever done it in the kitchen!

I trust the Danes will strive to improve their position in the future.

Power is the ability to get things done. Viewed from such a perspective it is a magic wand that can be used to make wonderful things happen. Viewed from a somewhat different angle, power is a good that can be traded or sold.

A German professor of law used his power this way:

A court in Germany sentenced a law professor to three years in prison for giving students better marks in exchange for sex and money.

The 53-year-old from the central city of Hanover admitted accepting 156,000 ($318,300) euros in total for awarding doctorates to students who failed to make the grade.

The man also told the court in nearby Hildesheim he had given female students better marks in return for sex.

The academic, whom the court on Wednesday convicted on 68 counts of corruption, said he had resorted to taking bribes because he was having financial difficulties.

His net monthly salary of nearly 5000 euros had not been sufficient to pay off his debts, the court heard.

I am not sure why the court didn’t ask the obvious question: How did sex from female students improve his financial situation?

Ashley Alexandra Dupre became instantly famous over night when the world learned that she was the call girl visited by New York ex-governor Eliot Spitzer. Also, according to some, she may have sold similar services to Hollywood-playboy Charlie Sheen,  dressed up as  cheer leader.

Deservedly or not, she stood to make millions of dollars on her newfound fame. Books, interviews and such will come, for sure. But some wanted to pay for porn pictures of her as well. Hustler seems to have been willing to pay 1 million USD for that. Producer of “Girls Gone Wild” Joe Francis was too.

According to Associated Press:

Joe Francis had reached out to Ashley Alexandra Dupre, now 22, with an offer of $1 million to appear in a non-nude spread for his company’s new magazine, plus a chance to join the “Girls Gone Wild” tour bus, his company announced Tuesday.

But Francis said someone had a revelation at the Tuesday morning staff meeting: Did anyone think to check the archives?

They did, he said — and there she was.

“It’ll save me a million bucks,” Francis told The Associated Press on Tuesday. “It’s kind of like finding a winning lottery ticket in the cushions of your couch.”

Francis said at that point, his offer was off the table: “We actually had been dealing with her rep,” he said. “Our (offer) was the real deal. We just never made the connection.”

He said his employees got to work on pulling the footage and planned to offer it on the Web site by Tuesday evening, with a free sampling on the front page and the rest available with a $29.95 monthly subscription.

And off the video will come nude pics and internet videoes. All in high demand.

So that was a  cool million lost for having shown off her body on tape at the wrong time! Bad deal, if you ask me.
