These images are defintely art. The entire point of art, as I’m sure you know, is to raise emotion in the audience. These are a beautiful portrayal of women, and appear to not be based on sex – but on the body. The body is vital to art of any kind – I call myself a poet and believe this. Thank you for the inspiration!

I’ll give you another definition for porn/erotic:
For most people, if they like a given piece, they will refer to it as erotic.
If they dislike it, they will refer to it as pornographic.
After that it’s just a matter of each person coming up with whatever justification they personally feel for liking or disliking the piece.
Doesn’t that fit most situations?

A definition I think is often true is that in porgography there is usually a victim; in erotica, not.

Pornos is Greek for prostitute, so pornography literally means depictions of prostitutes. Erotica is a tribute to a Roman God. Face it now; when you’re feeling awful, and a beautiful woman with a sense of Eros walks by, don’t you feel you have been uplifted by a Godlike force?

I’m a monotheistic and Jewish, but I think the Romans might have had something there.

these are all erotic art, but the lauren hutton pic is almost sculptural. The old-fashioned definition of pornography was “is the model looking the camera in the eye?”. Well, the only one of these where this is true is definitely not porn!

The question is more are they erotic or pornographic. I emphatically say these three images are erotic. For me the difference is intent. Are you trying to get a rise out of the whole person, or just one part of the person?
